SHE - Fancy Pants

Good morning.  I had a great time stealing this adorable photo from my friend when we were scrapbooking together.  There is only one other female in our house and that is my dog Flo.  I wanted to use the gorgeous pink papers in the Summer Sun collection so I grabbed this older photo of Em.  She is photogenic and adorable!  Perfect for the flip flops and "love" Brag Card.  I will be giving this layout to my chum while begging for more photos.  Just take a look at the pink and grey together.  I challenge you to try that color combo.  It was super fun.

This is the second layout that was published in the Russian magazine!  woohoo

Head over to the FP blog for more detailed photos.

Cub Scouts - Paper Camellia

Good morning.  Today I am sharing ANOTHER boy layout over at Paper Camellia.  I am excited that I am getting so many things scrapbooked.  I have used the Main Scrapbooking kit and the Embellishment Add-on.  I will say, the add-on is pretty spectacular.  There are more things included in this than I will ever have time to use.  Letters, words, 6x6 paper pad, ephemera and so much more.  Be sure to check it out HERE.
Head over to the Paper Camellia blog for more details.

Planner Spotlight - Paper Issues

Today is a fun team up with some of the ladies over at the Paper Issues blog.  We are all trying to share different ways to use our various planners.

My point is, you can use anything you want in a planner.  ANYTHING!  For next week, I don't have a ton on my schedule so I decided to pick out a few things that I have been setting aside, to make sure that I used them on next weeks projects.  Using decorative bobby pins and/or paperclips attach your items in a temporary way.
I love the lavender and purple colors for July in my The Happy Planner by mambi (me & my BIG ideas.)  Since I am wearing purple shirt today, why not go for pink, purple and turquoise embellishments for my upcoming projects?

Oh my, that crooked banner paperclip is going to drive me nuts!  I have three different clumpings.  Each are for different projects.  I am going to use ephemera and  bobby pins  from Crate Paper.  Washi tapes.  Tags from American Crafts and grey ones from the PI store.  Heidi Swapp Paperclips.  Best thing here, is the little doilies from the PI store.  They usually come in sets of 75 but Cassie has
graciously  broken them up into sets that include a tiny bit from each color.  Who wants 75 of one color anyway?

Then I started to embellish my pages as things started to fill in.

So, grab all the little things that you LOVE and have to have.  It does not have to coordinate with anything else you buy.  Throw these things into your planner.  Grab washi tapes and paper clips while your at it.  You won't be sorry.  It will take your planner to a completely different level.

When you get that shopping card full of goodies, use my code:  Mary-Ann for 20% off everything you purchase.

SunKissed - Paper Issues

Hi friends.  Or family:o) or people I pay to come here!  I am over at the Paper Issues blog today with a cute layout.
Seems like forever since my last post over there.
When I received the October Afternoon Summertime collection, I fell in love.  So will you, I promise.  I bought it all.  Every little thing I could.  The colors are vibrant and even better in person.

Last year, I captured this photo of my boy and his long (long for him) hair, outside by the pool, taking a quick break.  He swims like a fish and still maintains cool hair!  Here is how I used just a small portion of my October Afternoon goodies.

Want this collection too?
Head over to the Paper Issues store and grab it for 20% off.  Use code: Mary-Ann.

July Planner - mambi

Oh my, are summers crazy around here.  July especially.  With the 4th, Bible school, Sherrif's Academy, company and a party, I don't know how I would make it without my planner.  You should see how messy my grocery section of my planner is!  If my head is still in tact at the end of July, that will be a miracle!  How about you?  What is your busiest month and how do you organize it all?  Here is a glimpse of my non-messy section of my planner, lol!  Oh, all the empty days you see in the book, those are POOL days!  Didn't think you wanted to see that repeated 20 times!  If you need me for anything on those days, you will know where to find me.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Last Day 4th Grade - mambi

With all of the harsh winter weather we received here in New England, school is just wrapping up for the kids.  For my boy, he gets to escape a week early due to a yearly family camping trip.  Remember the planner post I did for camping?  I am happy to say that we have returned unscathed by the big black bears!  Matter of fact, we did not even see any.  Anyway, back to the layout at hand, this is of my boy on HIS last day of school.  Can you believe our towns last day was actually June 26th?  Isn't that crazy?

Here is the layout I created for my boy's last day June 19th!

Head over to the mambi blog for more details and to see a list of the products I used.
