Enjoy Nap Time - Paper Issues

Morning!  I have asked the Paper Issues team to join me for my Swag Bag post for today.  I think it is the funnest thing ever!  You have to see how many ways you can use one.  It is really in expensive with loads of bits and pieces that I would NEVER put together myself.  I love them.  I may have coerced several of my friends to get them too.  If you used my code:  Mary-Ann, they are 20% off too!

Here it is....

That is my sweet Leroy.  Always in the way.  Always on top of boxes.  Always puts hair everywhere. Always super sweet.
Head over to Paper Issues and see what the other girls did with the Swag Bag.

Festival of Trees - Paper Issues

The Paper Issues team is spotlighting the Fancy Pants Wish Season collection over on the  Paper Issues blog today.  Stop over and check out all the different way you can create with it.  I have had the pleasure of using it several times already this month.  I love it.

Remember you can grab it from the Paper Issues store for
20% off when you use my code: Mary-Ann.
Here is my design for this project.

The boys are the best.  They came to visit last year over Thanksgiving.  The little guy, is my Godson!  We hit the Festival of Trees before they left town, which is a huge production here.  People come from all over just to see it.  There are hundreds of trees on display, all to be won by lucky people!

Dream Darling - Paper Camellia

I must say that it has been a real pleasure, working with and sharing my designs over at Paper Camellia for the year of 2015.  It is sad that the year is ending and my time there is complete.  I thank you for taking time to check out the work I have submitted for them and being so kind.  Here is my last layout.

Packaging a Happy Planner - mambi

I am gunning for 'Aunt of the year' with gift giving The Happy Planner!  I am over on the mambi blog today with details of what is inside this pretty planner and organizing techniques as well!  I love to organize so this is right up my alley!
Here is the front cover that I decorated as the gift, but the Christmas items can be removed and stored until next year.

Wonderful gift wrapping - Fancy Pants

For the last 12 days, the Fancy Pants team has been providing you with different gift wrapping and gift giving ideas.  Today it is my turn.  I would love it if you stopped over and see my complete package and how I intend to use it!

Just look at the beautiful pinks.  I get a little giddy anytime that I get to use pink, sorry:o)

to be continued.... - A Flair for Buttons

Morning!  With all of the diamonds that are everywhere in the scrapbooking industry, I needed to find a way to use them.  Why not use them on a baseball photo!  I remember using one not too long ago on my "Game Ball" layout too.  It actually was the same day as this.  So, they will match, when they are beside each other when the get put into albums.  If they ever get put into albums, HA!  You should see my pile.

Back to business!  I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.  I used Just Words 3 Flair for this.  I also used the beautiful Shine collection, designed by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper.

I hope you will stop over and take a look at my post on the A Flair For Buttons blog.  I think you will love the flair in Shelly's ETSY shop too.

Milk and Cookies - Paper Issues

Morning.
We still leave out milk, cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.  Do you?
We actually have tons of traditions, this is only one of them.

I created this layout for the Pinspire Me challenge over at Paper Issues.  You can play along too.

Here is a look at the mood board created for this challenge.
I chose inspiration from the striped circle and touch of teal and red throughout the board.

I used October Afternoon Under the Tree for this layout.
Grab it from Paper Issues  for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Making A List - Paper Issues

Each month, Paper Issues has a free cut file that they offer to the public.
A few of the designers have created with this file in several different ways.
Here is how I interpreted the file.

I will admit, I had to remove an inch of dust off of my Cameo in order for it to work.  It has been a while, I forgot how fun die cutting could be:o)

Here is what the entire cut file looked like.
If you would like to receive this file for free, go HERE.
I chose to delete all but the banner of trees. I duplicated that section and shrunk a couple of them.  Then I cut them on desired Fancy Pants papers to achieve what I was looking for.

I used  Fancy Pants new line, Wish Season.  You can grab it in the Paper Issues store for 20% with my code:  Mary-Ann.  Might as well grab other things too, all at a 20% discount.

Cookie Bribery - Paper Issues

I decided I had time to play along with the Scraplift Sunday challenge over at Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page.  Every Sunday, a layout is chosen as inspiration.  From that design, you can take what ever it is you want from it.  Wether it be the exact replica, the colors or even just a small piece.  Here is what I created with the lift.

Here is the original layout by Michelle Gallant!

Do you see any resemblance?  I loved her layout.  I tried not to veer off too far from the original.  I  do wish I had that felt banner she used.  However, I was more than happy to use the October Afternoon Under the Tree Collection.
You can get it from the Paper Issues store for 20% with code: Mary-Ann

Beautiful Flo - Paper Camellia

Good morning!
Today, my most favorite layout EVER (or at least lately) is over on the Paper Camellia blog.
It is of my beautiful baby, Flo!
Remember the layout from last week with all the dark blue, green and gray triangles?
Well, all the triangles you see here, are the left over triangles from that sheet of paper.

#definitelytwins

Around the Christmas season, we often get told that our son looks just like the boy from Christmas Story.  We could see how people would think that.  It wasn't exact but definitely a resemblance.  One day last year, we walked into my all  time favorite store, Target, and there it was.  A large kiosk for the movie, Christmas Story.  On the side was a huge picture of the boy.  My son scrunched down and said, "mama look!"  OMG, I can definitely see the what people saw!  He is the EXACT image!  Unfortunately, we do not get royalties:o(  If they ever do a remake of the movie, he would for sure get the part!  Don't you think?

You can check out my entire layout over on the Fancy Pants blog.  If you havent' seen their new Wish Season collection, you really want to take a look!
