Grateful - Paper Issues

Every month, Paper Issues offers a FREE printable.
They have asked the design team to come together and show you different ways in which you could use these FREE printable

I decided to fussy cut the fox and use him on the bottom right of my layout.

This is my boy, 5 years ago.  Playing with his bow and arrow with his Thanksgiving hat he made at school.  If you look close, he may have tattoos and listen closely to hear his battle cry!

Isn't he cute? My boy and the fox!
Go HERE to see all the FREE printable that PI has offered over the months.

I used Pink Paislee Cedar Lane collection.
Grab it or anything else you need from the store with code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire order.

TWD - Fancy Pants

Fall has to be my favorite time of year!  The cool crisp breeze, remarkable foliage and candy!  lol.  Just kidding but not really!  I was excited to see that this week, over on the Fancy Pants blog, the Design team is focusing on Halloween.

This year, costume choosing has become a battle. I want cute, like Buzz Lightyear, a cow or a minion.  My 10 year old wants to be a ninja, the Grim Reaper or Freddie Crueger.  We just can not compromise.  We, meaning my son and husband, have settled with a scary clown costume.  I will have to say, it is pretty scary.  The little kids are not going to like him.

I am afraid that last year was the last time I had full influence on what he became for one night.  Zombie was the worst thing I would let him become.  Fake scars and all, you could still tell that it was him beneath a touch of make-up.

You can see more of my layout and the creepy zombie from last year over on the Fancy Pants blog.

Zombie - Paper Issues

Some of the the Paper Issues Design Team have come together to highlight and spotlight Crate Paper's After Dark collection.  You will see home decor, a few spooky layouts and some cards.  All created with the amazing Crate product.

Yes, please, send me double of everything.  I love love love it all.

This is my boy last year a a zombie.
This is also how a zombie waits for pizza.
I am in the background crying, because this was the last year that I will have any costume control.  Being a zombie is on the edge.  This year, he has crossed to the dark side.

This product was fun.  I layered,

Apples - Paper Issues

Good morning.
Over at Paper Issues, we are having a New Issue Monday.  It gives you a chance to be inspired by a theme.  There are many different variants of the theme.  This time it is, Fan-atics.  Pretty much, show us what you are a fan of.  Sports team, collection, TV show, whatever.  I chose to share how much we love apples.  Mostly apple picking.

It is not very often that I start a layout with a huge photo.  I wanted to try something new.

I used Photo Play - Autumn Day along with a touch of Simple Stories enamels and brads, Doodlebug's mini Doodle Pops and Studio Calico Alphas and Seven Paper Die cut.
You can grab it over at the Paper Issues store for 20% off when you used code: Mary-Ann.

If you want to play along.  There are prizes to be won.  You could win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues Store.  Just link up your project by November 8th for a chance to win.

BOO - mambi

Good morning.  With halloween fast approaching, I thought I would share with you my most recent homemade project.  I have collected tons and tons of decoration over the years because I absolutely love this season!  My favorite decor is anything that contains the color orange, spiders, webs, cats, mice, rats and mums.  Maybe even a few skeletons.  I don't have many ghosts or witches.  Just keeping it real with everything else.  I pinky swore to myself that this year, I would not buy anything additional.  So, technically,  I stuck with that right?  When I came across this super cool frame for $2.48, it was not in the Halloween isle, nor is it specific to any holiday, so, it don't count!

If you would like more information about my project, or what items I used, you can head to the mambi blog  to see.

Merry Christmas - The Rubber Cafe

You're on my Face! - Paper Camellia

Flo is my dog.
Where ever I am, you will find her.
Soon as Randy leaves the bed, she jumps in.
If I am in the kitchen, she is underfoot.
When I shower, she is waiting by the door for me to finish.
When I sit on the couch, she sits right next to me.
When I lay on the couch, well....... this happens.

For this layout, I used the main scrapbooking kit from Paper Camellia.  This crazy layout is on their blog today.  You can go HERE if you want to join in on the  fun and be a part of the kit club!!

October Monthly Planner - mambi

This time of year is my favorite.  Mostly because the new design team was announced and my name was on it!!!  I am thrilled to be here again.  It is also my favorite time of year because I love October and November equally.  For the October monthly section of my planner, I decided to go all out Halloween!  I grabbed all the goodies I could find from mambi that would be perfect for my idea.  Grabbed the coordinating tapes and pens and started documenting.  I am particularly fond of the glittery apple to indicate our apple picking adventure and the big, perfectly too large, glasses for my boys eye appt!  Did you  notice the fun pumpkin fellas?  I think they were the icing on the cake or the caramel on the apple!

I am not going to lie.  This is a busy busy month.  I will document all the smaller details that need attention on the daily sections in the up coming weeks.  You will see!

This Jack Skellington guy is from Paper Issues and is called PaperPOP. You can check him and all his friends out HERE

You can go to the mambi blog and see how all the other design team members are creating with their planners.

Grace Alone

It is with God's grace that I am able to stay home to work and play with paper.
He as allowed me the opportunity to illustrate my memories and preserve them for my child.
Roman and I recently accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior together and were baptized.
With the new Illustrated Faith product on the market, I snatched it up and started documenting this milestone.  The title is from a song we sing in church.  It is one of my faves.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing in my creative journey.

I purchased these items from Paper Issues.  If you need it for documenting your journey with Christ, head on over and grab it for yourself.  Anything you order can be discounted by 20% if you use my code: Mary-Ann at checkout.
